Ok, This movie is brilliant in so many ways:

First of all, it's a movie by the eternal combination of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Their name alone guarantees quality and excellency.I love this movie not because that I love Johnny Depp, but I ADORE Johnny Depp! :)

Secondly, I just fall madly in love with the Cheshire cat, and its big smile. My impossible thing of the day is to have THE cheshire cat as my pet, and let him wear THE hat alllllll the time. Sssssssweet!

Thirdly, the voice of Cheshire cat grows on me so strongly. Stephen Fry, and so many other British actors with their incredible voices, is exactly the reason why i cannot resist British accent. (And how dare I just found out that HE is the reader for the British versions of all of Harry Potter series of audio books. OOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGG!)

Forthly, the quotes from Alice is something completely absurd, or pure wisdom.

    The Hatter
Why is a raven like a writing desk? --Ok, WHYYYY? Maybe when i am as mad as the hatter, i will have the answer.

    Still the Hatter

There is a place. Like no place on Earth. A land full of wonder, mystery, and danger! Some say to survive it: You need to be as mad as a hatter. Which luckily I am.

The Duchess: Be what you would seem to be -- or, if you'd like it put more simply -- Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise. -- let's face it , this is either the most philosophical sentence i have ever read or it just simply doesn't make any sense. ^^

Last but not least, it's the idea of impossible becoming possible that intrigues me the most. We all know this is just an imagination of Alice, a dream, as she told herself several times in the movie. But it is more real than reality. Sometimes I don't understand why people want to see those cheesy movie with plots that have no connection in real life. What is so interesting to read something that imaginative? It makes perfect sense now. Life is cruel, no wonderland, no disappearing cats and talking dormmouses. But it keeps telling us that there is something more valuable than daily chores, must-dos, deadlines. We have our imaginations to set us free, to fly as high as we want, and to find the beauty in life, the meaning of living in a world of constant disappointment. Even though we keep telling us it's impossible, we need to count them out loud. Isn't the impossible makes you wonder "What if..."? And that, my friend, is where your own Wonderland start to shape.
